How my time at Salford Business School has prepared me for a career in Social media/Content creation

For the past 3 years at the University Of Salford I have gained many skills and knowledge which I guarantee will help me in the future. These skills that I have gained will not only help me prepare for the real world but will also help me in building my career in the marketing fields, more specifically in becoming a social media content creator one day. My BSc degree in Marketing helped me develop an overview of what marketing is, along with understanding the digital aspects of marketing. In addition, my degree also offered me a full understanding on digital and business skills, digital marketing, international marketing, search and social media marketing and market research. Digital marketing and search and social media marketing is directly linked to my career ambitions and aspirations. I really enjoyed those courses as I gained on hand experience on what I'll be undergoing in my future career. My search and social media marketing module is directly linked to my future career as a social media content creator as it gives me on hands experience on search engine optimization, optimizing my LinkedIn profile, along with social media marketing which will help me enhance myself in my career path. Moreover, in my professional development course I have also gained knowledge regarding improving my competencies as we did mockup interviews along with writing our resume. Thus, I have gained many skills such as communication by having group presentations and communicating with my group members via Zoom/WhatsApp. Having good communication skills is crucially important for undergoing a career as a social media content creator. In addition, I also gained multitasking, organizational, and writing and verbal skills that will help me in my future as I was given several tasks to complete in a short period of time, and I had to organize and manage my time accordingly.
